Wow, it has been a busy couple of weeks since our last post. It seems like a month has gone by instead of two weeks and I can't believe that it has been a month since we left for vacation! I guess that just means we are a month closer to our next trip!!
We broke down and bought Lauren an aquarium the weekend before last and she is loving it! So far we haven't had to give any fish rides on the porcelain express! Lauren wanted a salt water tank so that we could have Nemo, but we told her we needed to practice with freshwater fish first!
I finally bought a TiVo (actually a Directv version). After saying they were crap and that I wouldn't pay $5 a month to record TV I joined the masses and picked one up (free after rebate). A couple of months ago we had our carpets cleaned and had to hang out at Mom and Dad's while they dried. They weren't home and there was nothing on so I started watching stuff they had already recorded. That was all it took to convince me it was the thing to do.

Let me comment on the TiVo purchase. Brad stayed up until 3:00 a.m. picking what recordings he thinks is necessary. We now are recording every cartoon and Disney show out there. Our goal is to limit Lauren's tv watching, but now with TiVo, she has lots more chances. Hmm?
Now she can watch the good stuff without all the bad stuff!!
