Tucker

Last evening we got a call from the humane society letting us know that Tucker has been selected for adoption. A lady who lives up in the suburbs but is moving down to Champaign/Urbana wants to adopt him. Brad talked with her this AM and answered all her questions. She said that she's definitely picking him up today. Our prayers have been answered. We are excited for Tucker and hope we can visit with him once he gets settled in his new home.

I am a big fan!

It's been a week and I am hooked on our DVR. I am watching a show about how the dinosaurs died (apparently it may not have been a meteorite like we learned in school), and just as it was getting ready to come back from commercial Chris said, "Jessie needs to go out, she is circling." As I was grumbling under my breath it hit me...I can just hit pause!! Clearly, DVR's are man's best friends...not dogs!

New Blog

Chris started a new blog today about the IVF process we are going through. This is our second go around with this cycle and we hope to be heading over to Indy in a couple of weeks!!

Catch up post

Wow, it has been a busy couple of weeks since our last post. It seems like a month has gone by instead of two weeks and I can't believe that it has been a month since we left for vacation! I guess that just means we are a month closer to our next trip!!

We broke down and bought Lauren an aquarium the weekend before last and she is loving it! So far we haven't had to give any fish rides on the porcelain express! Lauren wanted a salt water tank so that we could have Nemo, but we told her we needed to practice with freshwater fish first!

I finally bought a TiVo (actually a Directv version). After saying they were crap and that I wouldn't pay $5 a month to record TV I joined the masses and picked one up (free after rebate). A couple of months ago we had our carpets cleaned and had to hang out at Mom and Dad's while they dried. They weren't home and there was nothing on so I started watching stuff they had already recorded. That was all it took to convince me it was the thing to do.
